Monkhouse Granary has been developed to meet your business needs and caters for all sizes and types of business, organisations and groups who require conference facilities for meetings, seminars, training and events.

Monkhouse Granary has the benefit of being a family run business, so can adapt to your individual requirements at short notice. We do not have a set delegate package.

From a one on one interview for an hour in the Coach Room, to a full training day or seminar with fifty delegates in the Hayloft. We offer all guests the flexibility to create the most suitable format for their business needs.

Rooms can be hired individually or you may wish to use the whole building to ensure total privacy.
Room hire charges start from £70.00 per half day – please do call us to discuss your needs and we can provide an individual quotation.

General Room Hire Details:

  • All room hire charges include arrival tea and coffee for all guests, water throughout the meeting, paper & pencils and use of all equipment in the room
  • Super speedy microwave broadband is available for all guests
  • Rooms can be hired for any length of time from half a day to a full week – or longer
  • There is sound proofing between the two rooms
  • If two meetings are taking place on one day, all rooms are clearly marked
  • Presentations can be emailed in advance and set up for your arrival
  • You are welcome to bring your own equipment
  • Catering is run on a per person basis – we cater for groups from 2 people to 50 people

The Hayloft is on the upper floor; the original features of the building have been combined with the latest equipment for your use. The space is ideal for larger groups, whether you are delivering a presentation, or running a training event.

Below are some layout options. As shown in the diagram, room dimensions are 10m x 5.7m.

The Coach Room is on the ground floor and can be adapted for formal meetings for groups of up to eight. This room also provides a relaxed, comfortable environment for less formal meetings and can be used in conjunction with the Hayloft for serving refreshments.

Larger Groups

Monkhouse Granary is a versatile space. If you are planning a meeting with larger numbers, the Coach Room can be hired in conjunction with the Hayloft as a break out space.
