“The Women and Broadband project across Shropshire is focused on improving digital skills for women in business, encouraging them to use new technologies to start and grow their businesses. With a high tech focus and nearly 20 events scheduled across the county the delivery partners WiRE (Women in Rural Enterprise) needed to find comfortable and welcoming venues; plus with often 20 delegates practising their new digital skills at one time, venues with excellent broadband speed were an absolute must. Monkhouse Granary fitted the bill on all counts; lovely rural surroundings, plenty of parking, gorgeous homemade buffet and lightning fast internet”.
